Behaviour Mentor
Location: Brent, North West London
Start Date: February 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Pay: £95-£125 per day (PAYE)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour in a specialist secondary setting.
You will work closely with SEN and pastoral teams to support pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour management and re-engagement with learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support (KS3-KS4)
* Implement de-escalation and behaviour regulation strategies
* Support pupils to re-engage with learning
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
Requirements:
* Experience working within SEMH, PRU or SEND settings
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Team Teach, MAPA or equivalent training preferred
* Calm, resilient and relationship-focused approach
