Forest School SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford Swinton
Position: Full-Time (Term-Time)
Pay: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated Forest School SEN Teaching Assistant to join a provision in Salford Swinton. This full-time, term-time role is ideal for someone with a passion for outdoor learning and a commitment to supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students with various SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
Assist with Forest School and outdoor learning sessions.
Offer 1:1 and small group support for students.
Help with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour management.
Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other professionals to meet individual needs.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
Interest or experience in Forest School or outdoor education.
A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
Forest School qualification is desirable but not essential.
Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply).
