The Company
A well-established sales and marketing organisation, working with leading brands to deliver effective retail solutions across the UK. The business supports clients through strong in-store execution, customer engagement and data-driven performance, operating in fast-paced retail environments. This is a hybrid role offering three days at home and two days in the office in Thame. Free parking onsite.
The Role
You will provide expert HR support across the business, advising leaders and managers on all people-related matters in line with best practice, internal policies and employment legislation.
Working closely with the HR Director, you’ll manage complex employee issues, contribute to key HR initiatives including workforce planning, recruitment and reward, and support change and transformation to enable delivery of the wider business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
*Partner with the HR Director to advise and coach leaders on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
*Translate business priorities into practical, commercial HR solutions that support organisational objectives.
*Deliver core HR initiatives including workforce planning, TUPE, restructuring, resourcing, talent management and reward.
*Provide expert support to managers on complex employee relations matters, including performance, attendance and retention.
*Use people data and ER insights to identify trends and drive improvements in HR practices.
*Support business change programmes and implement HR initiatives across engagement, wellbeing and performance.
*Champion equality, diversity and inclusion, contributing to learning and development activity where required.
*Ensure a high standard of stakeholder service while maintaining full compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
About You
*CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 desirable) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
*Strong, up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice across ER, performance, reward, L&D and organisational development.
*Track record of delivering HR initiatives, including change and restructuring programmes, aligned to wider business strategy.
*Confident communicator with the credibility to influence, challenge and engage stakeholders at all levels.
*Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret people data and provide meaningful insight.
*Based within a commutable distance of Thame, Oxfordshire (2 days per week in the office), with flexibility to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
Package
*Salary £40-42k DOE.
*Upto 10% annual bonus.
