Job Description:
Location: Ilford, Redbridge
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
We are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to work within a PRU in Ilford, Redbridge, supporting students who require targeted behaviour and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour mentoring
* Support students to regulate behaviour and emotions
* Implement behaviour support plans and restorative strategies
* Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
* Support reintegration into learning and positive routines
* Act as a positive role model for students
Requirements: * Experience working with young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour
* Background in PRU, alternative provision or youth work desirable
* Calm, consistent and resilient approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
