Drainage CCTV Technician
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year
Location: London & surrounding areas
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Role Overview
A specialist contractor is seeking a skilled CCTV Drainage Technician to join their team. The role involves conducting inspections across residential and commercial sites, primarily in London and nearby counties.
This position is ideal for a practical, hands-on drainage professional who can work independently, deliver accurate CCTV surveys, and provide effective solutions for drainage issues.
Key Duties
*Perform CCTV inspections on drainage systems, both above and below ground
*Produce detailed, clear reports using industry-standard software
*Identify defects, assess system condition, and recommend remedial actions
*Suggest follow-on works such as lining, cleaning, or patching
*Follow job instructions and site plans to meet client needs
*Operate CCTV equipment and associated machinery safely and efficiently
*Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and third parties
*Upload findings and reports using company systems
*Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency on site
Requirements
*Experience in drainage work with a focus on CCTV inspections
*Good understanding of drainage networks and standard maintenance methods
*Competence in using CCTV survey software and equipment
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Comfortable with IT systems for reporting
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable (training can be provided if needed):
*Drainage inspection certifications (OS19X/OS24)
*High Pressure Water Jetting qualification
*Confined Spaces training
