Job Description:
Quest Search & Selection is seeking a Business Finance Analyst to drive business performance through robust reporting, detailed analysis, and strong financial planning. Responsibilities include building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions, and analysing data to surface key trends, risks, and opportunities.
We are partnering with a global retail leader offering both international brands and local favourites to millions of customers. With new stores opening soon, this is a great opportunity to join a high-performing retail team.
Key Responsibilities for this Business Finance Analyst role:
*Develop and manage automated reports and interactive Power BI dashboards.
*Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
*Analyse data to uncover trends, risks, and key performance drivers.
*Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
*Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Challenge and review underlying assumptions in budgets and forecasts.
*Produce month-end management accounts and variance analyses.
*Carry out ad-hoc data analysis to support business decisions.
Key Requirements of this Business Finance Analyst role:
*3-4+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business/data analytics roles.
*Proven ability to deliver automated, accurate, and visually impactful Power BI reporting that supports financial and commercial decision-making.
*Strong experience in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models.
*Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF.
*Experience in retail, FMCG, or wholesale environments is desirable.
*Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as SAP BI and SAP Analysis is advantageous but not essential.
