Veritas Education are currently helping a forward-thinking community special school in Middlesbrough. On behalf of the school, we are seeking an enthusiastic, resilient, and creative SEN Teacher to join its dedicated team. As a SEND Teacher you will:
*Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with complex learning needs
*Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing.
*Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including support staff, therapists, and families.
*Promote independence, emotional regulation, and social communication skills alongside academic development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
*Specialised training in SEN settings
*Experience of working with students with a range of additional needs
*A deep understanding of inclusive education and a commitment to personalised learning.
*Patience, empathy, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt teaching methods
*Flexibility, creativity, and a proactive approach to overcoming barriers to learning.
*Full Enhanced DBS on the update service
