JB473: Chassis Convertor
Location: Westbury
Salary: £31,000 to £33,400 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Chassis Convertor.
Our client encourage applications from ex-Military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Chassis Convertor:
*Modify and convert vehicle chassis to meet specific customer or manufacturer requirements
*Carry out chassis extensions, shortening, reinforcements, and structural alterations
*Fit subframes, crossmembers, mounting brackets, and body supports
*Read and interpret engineering drawings, build sheets, and technical specifications
*Perform cutting, welding, drilling, and fabrication work to a high standard
*Install mechanical and electrical components required for chassis conversions
Skills and Qualifications for the Chassis Convertor:
*You will need to have previous experience as a Chassis Converter
*A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
*To ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential and is a key part of your role and it is part of being a brilliant team player.
*Precision in carrying our installations to ensure safety and performance standards.
*Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes to meet customer demands and maintain efficiency.
