Job Title: Production Maintenance Engineer
Location: Harrogate
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Full time, permanent role working 7 × 12 hour shifts over a two week period. Shifts include days, nights and weekends.

Our client, a market leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and innovation is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in Harrogate.

Your Duties asProduction Maintenance Engineer will include:
*Diagnose and repair faults on high speed, automated machinery
*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of specialist equipment
*Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, hygiene and quality protocols
*Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and share learnings across the team
*Work collaboratively to ensure equipment operates within standard operating procedures
*Identify and implement maintenance improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
*Oversee and manage on site contractors, ensuring full compliance with safety and documentation standards
*Maintain clear shift handovers and complete all relevant maintenance records accurately

Experience required:
*Proven experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or FMCG
*Strong fault finding skills on automated production equipment
*Safety conscious with strong problem solving and attention to detail
*Capable of mechanical servicing and repairs (e.g., welding, turning)
*Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player
