EUROPEAN ROADFREIGHT OPERATOR
Salary: £30,000
Contract: 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT.
Based in Tamworth
Freight Forwarding / Groupage & Full Load
We are looking to recruit a European Road Freight Operator to manage and coordinate international road freight movements.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinate international road freight movements (FTL, LTL, groupage)
*Plan and book collections and deliveries with carriers and partners
*Negotiate rates and manage transport costs
*Prepare and maintain accurate transport documentation
*Track shipments and proactively manage delays or issues
*Communicate regularly with customers and internal departments
*Maintain accurate data within operating systems
*Identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency
Key Skills & Experience
*1–2 years’ experience in European road freight (preferred)
*Strong knowledge of road transport operations and documentation
*Understanding of Incoterms, ADR, and customs processes
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
*Proactive, team-focused, and customer-driven approach
