Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Double Days | £35,000 - £42,000
We are working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a busy, high-volume injection moulding operation.
This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with strong fault-finding ability and proven experience maintaining injection moulding machinery within a fast-paced production environment.
The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of injection moulding machines and associated ancillary equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines

* Diagnose and fault-find electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults

* Support machine changeovers, tool changes and continuous improvement activity

* Maintain ancillary equipment including robots, dryers, conveyors and chillers

* Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime

* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures

* Complete maintenance documentation accurately

The Ideal Candidate * Apprentice-trained or time-served Maintenance Engineer

* Proven experience working on injection moulding machines

* Multi-skilled background (electrical and mechanical)

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

* Proactive, flexible and a strong team player
