We are a growing manufacturing business and are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant / Finance Analyst to join our on-site finance team. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Head of Finance and Managing Director, providing clear, insightful reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the business, close to operations, and turning data into meaningful information.
Key Responsibilities*Produce monthly management accounts including P&L, variance analysis and commentary
*Create and maintain performance dashboards and reports using Power BI
*Develop and improve factory KPIs (labour efficiency, margins, scrap, stock, productivity etc.)
*Support budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecasts
*Analyse manufacturing costs, margins and overheads
*Partner with production and operational teams to improve financial performance
*Prepare ad-hoc reports for the Head of Finance and Managing Director
*Assist with year-end and audit processes
*Drive continuous improvement in reporting and systems
What We’re Looking For*Experience in a management accounting or finance analyst role
*Manufacturing or production environment experience is essential
*Strong reporting and data skills – Power BI experience highly desirable
*Advanced Excel skills
*Confident communicator able to work with non-finance colleagues
*Comfortable working in an office-based role within a factory / operational environment
*Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) preferred
*Proactive, analytical and commercially focused
