Primary Class Teacher Location: Southwark, South East London
Position: Primary Class Teacher
Start Date: February 2026
Pay: £3,500 - £4,500 per month
Veritas Education is excited to be working in partnership with a vibrant and community-focused primary school in Southwark, who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Class Teacher to join their team from February 2026.
This OFSTED-rated ’Good’ school is known for its inclusive ethos, creative curriculum, and strong commitment to fostering both academic excellence and personal growth in its pupils. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a primary class, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
This role is perfect for a reflective, motivated teacher who thrives on creating stimulating and inclusive learning experiences, building strong relationships with pupils and their families, and contributing positively to a supportive, forward-thinking school community.
The Ideal Primary Class Teacher Will Have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Experience teaching within a primary school setting (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply)
* A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
Key Responsibilities: * Planning and delivering well-structured, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all pupils
* Monitoring, assessing, and tracking pupil progress to inform effective teaching and learning
