Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Dudley

Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum

Shifts: Rotating shifts

An established, high-volume manufacturing site in Dudley is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. This role sits within a modern production facility supplying high-quality steel products to a global customer base.

The Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of production machinery and supporting continuous manufacturing operations. Working within a skilled engineering team, you’ll deliver both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of automated and heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on production machinery
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown response
* Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
* Working safely in a high-risk, heavy manufacturing environment
* Recording maintenance activities and supporting compliance standards


About You:
* Time-served / apprentice-trained engineer
* Strong multi-skilled background (electrical bias preferred)
* Experience within steel, metals, heavy manufacturing, or similar industrial environments
* Comfortable working rotating shifts
* Safety-focused, reliable, and able to work under pressur
