About the Setting This Outstanding Ofsted-rated children’s centre is celebrated for its welcoming, child-centred approach and strong sense of community. The Role This is a full-time EYFS Teacher post within the Early Years Foundation Stage, ideal for a confident practitioner who enjoys leading practice and supporting development across the room.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading Welcomm assessments, review meetings and STP reviews in collaboration with the SENCO

* Acting as key person for around eight children, with responsibility for planning, observation and assessment

* Using Tapestry and EY Works to support learning and progress tracking

* Working within a well-organised setting with a maximum of 26 children in the room

Staffing & Support The EYFS Teacher will be supported by:
* Two experienced Scale 5 Early Years Practitioners

* Additional part-time Scale 3 and Scale 2 team members

* A friendly, motivated and cooperative staff team that values strong leadership and shared practice

Person Specification The successful EYFS Teacher will have:
* EYTS or QTS and at least three years’ experience teaching within EYFS

* A secure understanding of the EYFS framework and assessment processes

* The confidence to lead a classroom and communicate effectively with colleagues and families

* A caring, forward-thinking approach suited to early years education
