Leicestershire (Hybrid)

The Company
An exciting opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join a major UK retail organisation’s finance team, working closely with their analytics function to drive data storytelling, reporting automation, and self-service analytics adoption across the business
The Role
Reporting to the BI Manager, you’ll collaborate with SQL engineers and finance stakeholders to deliver high-impact Power BI dashboards supporting four key areas:
*Accounts Payable - Supplier payments
*Cash Accounting - Cash flow monitoring (Amex, PayPal, etc.)
*Commercial Services - Store essentials (e.g., hangers, bags)
*Operations - Stock levels across stores, warehouses, and tills
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to finance and operational functions
*Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualisations
*Utilise data storytelling to enable insight-driven decision-making
*Support the business in transitioning to self-service analytics, reducing ad-hoc reporting
*Contribute to the team’s shift toward a gold-standard Medallion Architecture
Your Skills & Requirements
*BI Development Experience - Power BI preferrable but not essential!
