The Opportunity
A long-established, growing organisation with a small, dedicated team is looking for an experienced Office Managerto take ownership of day-to-day operations. This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, supporting people, processes and business performance.
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll act as the on-site lead, ensuring smooth operations, clear communication and a well-organised workspace. If you excel in a role where you can make a noticeable impact every day, this could be an excellent next step.
The organisation is experiencing strong, consistent growth and is now seeking someone who can bring clarity, order and consistency to daily operations. You will become the trusted point of coordination—ensuring smooth communication, supporting team members, and maintaining the standards that keep the business running efficiently.


Key Responsibilities
Operational Management*Oversee the day-to-day running of the office and ensure all processes are followed.
*Provide structure, consistency and proactive problem-solving across the working environment.
*Manage operational reporting and ensure deadlines are met.
*Coordinate with internal leads to support workflow across different functional areas.
People & Team Support*Act as the first point of contact for the team regarding general HR matters (absence, lateness, basic disciplinary actions).
*Support a positive, respectful working culture.
*Provide clear direction, uphold standards and encourage accountability.
Customer Support (Email-based)*Handle incoming customer queries professionally and efficiently.
*Investigate issues, coordinate internally and resolve enquiries in a timely and empathetic manner.
*Communicate confidently with a range of customers who may require patience, clarity and understanding.
Finance & Administration*Support finance processes including invoicing, returns, and order administration.
*Collaborate with an external finance contact for more technical matters.
*Maintain accurate records and contribute to weekly/monthly business reporting.

What we’re looking for
Essential Experience*Background in accounts, finance administration or similar.
*Experience working in a small team or SME environment with varied responsibilities.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain structure.
*Excellent written communication skills
Personal Qualities*Proactive and able to take initiative without being prompted.
*Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple moving parts.
*Diplomatic but assertive—comfortable setting boundaries when needed.
*Trustworthy, consistent and reliable.
