Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Indirect Operations
Contract: 12-months
Location: Gaydon (hybrid/ 2 days per week onsite)
Day rate: circa £280 inside ir35
About the Role
*Take accountability for sourcing and procuring a wide range of indirect goods and services that support business operations
*Manage categories including (but not limited to): *Office supplies, IT equipment, travel services, facilities and maintenance
*Machine parts and other operational services

*Operate as a senior specialist within Indirect Procurement, providing subject matter expertise and strategic input
Key Responsibilities
*End-to-end procurement ownership, including: *Product and service sourcing
*Supplier selection and onboarding
*Pricing and contract terms negotiation
*Order processing and contract administration
*Ongoing supplier performance management

*Lead and manage large, complex projects with minimal supervision
*Apply strategic sourcing and category management principles at a professional (P4) level
*Coach, review and delegate work to junior procurement professionals
*Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships

*Proven commercial acumen with strong negotiation capability
*Results-driven mindset with resilience, tenacity, and perseverance
*Experience operating in complex, fast-paced, global business environments
*Strong understanding of operational contract management
*Excellent relationship management and communication skills
*Flexibility and agility to adapt to evolving business needs
Qualifications
*Degree-qualified preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
