Part-Time Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant (1 Day per Week, 6-Month Contract) Location: Outskirts of Edinburgh - Fully remote will be considered
Contract: up to 6 months, Part-Time (1 day per week)
Salary: £30-35k pro-rata (PAYE hourly equivalent)
Start: Immediate
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant to join a growing company on a part-time basis (1 day per week). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing payroll for approximately 30 staff while supporting the finance function.
What you’ll do:
* Process accurate payroll for all staff on time
* Maintain payroll records and handle related reporting
* Support bookkeeping and basic accounts tasks as needed
* Work closely with management to ensure smooth financial operations
About you:
* Proven experience in payroll and bookkeeping
* Confident with payroll software and accounting systems
* Organised, proactive, and reliable
* Comfortable working independently
