The Opportunity
Location: Northeast (preferred) or London
Type: Permanent | Hybrid
A growing Workday function is looking for a Senior Functional Partner – HCM to lead configuration, optimisation and continuous improvement across HCM, Advanced Compensation and Absence. This is a senior specialist position suited to someone who enjoys influencing process design and shaping how Workday is utilised across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing?
- Act as the SME for HCM, Advanced Compensation and Absence modules, owning configuration and ongoing maintenance.
- Lead change requests, impact assessments, testing and adoption of new features or releases.
- Develop and deliver workstream roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with HR and business teams to streamline processes, enhance user experience and increase automation.
- Produce and maintain documentation, training materials and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with other functional partners to support reporting, security and cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to maximise use of out-of-the-box functionality.
What you need
- Strong Workday HCM configuration experience (Advanced Compensation and Absence highly desirable).
- Experience in multi-business or multi-country environments.
- Confident leading process design discussions with HR stakeholders.
- Comfortable supporting testing, releases and governance processes.
- Workday Pro certifications (or working toward them) are beneficial.
