Job Description:
*Fabricate structural steel elements including beams, columns, staircases, and bespoke architectural features.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models (e.g., Tekla).
*Perform coded welding to BSEN 1090 standards.
*Operate fabrication tools and machinery (e.g., saws, drills, plasma cutters).
*Ensure traceability and quality control of all fabricated components.
*Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment.
*Collaborate with internal teams to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
*Proven experience in structural steel fabrication.
*Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
*Coded welding certification (or willingness to train).
*Familiarity with UKCA and BSEN 1090 standards.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to work independently and within a team.
*Good communication and problem-solving skills.
*Experience with architectural steelwork (e.g., staircases, balconies).
*Forklift or overhead crane certification.
