Fire Service Engineer - Within M25
Location: Covering sites within the M25
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

The Role We are recruiting an experienced Fire Service Engineer to join a well-established fire and security business, delivering servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding across commercial and public-sector sites within the M25.
This is a mobile role suited to an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and taking ownership of client sites while working to recognised British Standards.
Key Responsibilities * Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire detection and suppression systems
* Diagnosing faults and completing minor repairs during service visits
* Responding to emergency call-outs and participating in a rotating on-call rota
* Testing, commissioning, and servicing fire alarm systems in line with British Standards
* Completing service reports, certificates, and compliance documentation accurately
* Building strong client relationships and identifying follow-on service opportunities
* Attending manufacturer and in-house training to maintain technical competence
* Willingness to work nights when required
Systems You’ll Work With * Fire alarm panels including Morley, Advanced, Kentec, Siemens, Gent, Edwards, and Notifier
* Addressable fire alarm systems
* Fire detection and life safety systems
What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Fire Service / Fire Alarm Engineer
* Strong fault-finding and servicing background
* Commissioning grade on at least one system (Siemens, Gent, Edwards, Notifier, or Kentec)
* Good working knowledge of British Standards (BS 5839)
* Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
* Professional, customer-focused communication skills
