The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving my client’s products, ensuring quality and performance standards are met. Based in Wokingham, this position requires a technical expert with a strong background in engineering and manufacturing processes.

Description
*Deliver technical leadership for projects and transitions, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
*Provide engineering solutions for complex problems through structured analysis and collaboration
*Drive improvements in manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and regulatory requirements
*Lead teams to implement engineering changes and support product lifecycle activities
*Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality systems, including risk management
*Develop and apply best practices in design for manufacture, assembly, and validation
*Support team development through mentoring and regular performance reviews
*Contribute to achieving operational goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Profile
You will be an experienced Manufacturing/Project/Process Engineer, from a Manufacturing background, along with:
*A recognised qualification in Engineering
*Experience in processes such as assembly, machining, PCBA manufacture, and plastic injection moulding
*Skilled in techniques including FMEA, tolerance analysis, and configuration control
*Knowledge of CAD, PLM systems, and validation activities for engineering change
*Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams in a regulated environment
*Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to implementing solutions
