Job Description:
About Reed Learning
Reed Learning works with organisations across the public and private sectors to improve leadership, management capability and organisational performance. We combine high-quality training delivery with a consultative approach to learning and organisational development (L&D/OD), helping clients address real workforce challenges rather than simply delivering courses.
As the business continues to grow, we are now investing in internal consulting capability to complement our highly valued network of associate trainers and specialists.
We’re growing - and we’re looking for an experienced Learning & OD Consultant who loves delivering high-impact training and building deep, long-term client partnerships.
This senior role blends hands-on delivery with end-to-end client ownership, offering real autonomy, variety and influence across a portfolio of major clients.
What You’ll Do *Act as Client Director for your own portfolio, partnering with senior stakeholders.
*Diagnose needs, shape learning and OD solutions, and manage delivery end-to-end.
*Design and deliver c. 60 days of leadership, management and human-skills training per year.
*Create bespoke programmes (no off-the-shelf content).
*Contribute to bids, pricing and commercial decisions.
*Help shape Reed Learning’s consulting offer as part of the Client Services team.
What We’re Looking For *A genuine passion for training and facilitating.
*Strong experience in L&D or OD, including programme design and stakeholder management.
*Ability to build credibility with senior leaders.
*Comfortable with ambiguity and collaborative solution design.
*Commercially aware and value-driven.
Nice to have: coaching experience, OD/change background, public sector experience, blended learning expertise.
How We Work *Remote-first, with flexibility over weeks/months, not rigid daily patterns.
*Regular client travel (typically 1 day/week).
*Must live within ~30 minutes of London by train.
*High-trust culture: autonomy, support and shared ownership.
Future Opportunity Progress into more complex consulting work, mentor others or help shape our proposition - or stay focused on delivery if that’s what you love.
