Our client is a highly respected professional association, with their Head Office in Sutton, and due to increased growth within the group they wish to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis to work closely with the Financial Controller. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and you will enjoy an array of excellent benefits. This role would suit an individual who has some experience of working in a chartered accountancy firm.
Day to day duties as Financial Accountant include:
*Take accountability of the full month end balance sheet journals
*Ensure the business is as efficient as possible on processing & controls, whilst maintaining the compliance in line with standards
*Working with individuals within the Financial Accounts team, helping them on work and supporting their development
*Annual and quarterly financial statements
*Building relationships with external auditors and working as an Internal Auditor for the business
We are looking for attributes including:
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified or Qualfied by Experience
*Knowledge of accountancy software packages
*A strong team but able to work independently and prioritise a heavy workload
