The Job You’ll Do;
*Reporting to the Production Manager
*Responsible for a team of between 8-12 staff
*Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing and workshop operations, ensuring production runs smoothly
*Responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs.
*Ensuring all H&S and ISO processes are adhered too.
*Allocating jobs to employees
*Regularly assessing training and ability needs.
About You;
*5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment
*Willingness to be hands-on the shop floor if needed
*Lean manufacturing experience is beneficial
*Valid FLT license is desirable but not essential
*Experience welding or using hand tools (power/pneumatic) is desirable
*Health and safety awareness is essential
*Ability to read engineering drawings
*Strong attention to detail.
*IT Literacy
