The FP&A Modelling Lead will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department by developing and maintaining financial models to meet regulatory requirements. Description
*Develop and maintain robust financial models to meet regulatory requirements.
*Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes within the Accounting & Finance department.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and standards.
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data and provide insights.
*Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
*Identify opportunities for improving financial modelling processes and tools.
*Provide technical support and training to team members on financial modelling best practices.
*Stay updated on developments in the energy & natural resources industry to ensure models remain relevant.
Profile
A successful Regulatory Financial Modelling Lead should have:
*A strong background in Accounting & Finance with expertise in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*The ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.
*Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
*Strong communication and collaboration skills.
*A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
*ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
*Proven knowledge of regulatory frameworks within the energy & natural resources industry (desirable, not essential).
