Job Description:
Finance Analyst
Location - Harlow
Hours - Full Time
We are recruiting on behalf of our valued client to support their operational finance team, providing analysis, forecasting, and business partnering across multiple functions. The role offers broad exposure to senior leaders and plays an important part in managing headcount, overheads, and change activity.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Business Partnering
*Support headcount, utilisation, and overhead forecasting.
*Assist with reporting cycles (IBP, LRP, AOP, monthly updates).
*Track performance vs. plan and highlight cost opportunities.
*Prepare data and materials for monthly review boards.
*Monitor dashboards, metrics, SLAs, and service catalogues.
*Support restructuring and indirect cost optimisation.
Capex & Change
*Track capex and change spend against plan.
*Support simple ROI analysis and benefit tracking.
*Assist with forecasting, capitalisation, and depreciation updates.
*Provide clear updates for senior reviews.
Candidate Requirements
*AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (preferred).
*Degree or equivalent experience.
*2+ years in finance roles.
Essential Skills
*Strong attention to detail and ability to summarise clearly.
*Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
*Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
*Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Desirable Skills
*Experience with SAP, Power BI, or similar systems.
