Central Leeds (LS1) | Hybrid Working | Up to £50,000 + Bonus


We’re working with a well-established and fast-growing UK asset management company to recruit a Senior Client Accountant for their Leeds-based finance team.

This is a key role within a high-performing client finance function, offering a mix of technical accounting, client interaction, and analysis. You’ll work closely with internal asset management teams and senior stakeholders while supporting a diverse portfolio.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll take ownership of client accounting and reporting, ensuring high-quality financial information is delivered accurately and on time. Responsibilities include:
*Preparation and review of management accounts (P&L, balance sheets, reconciliations)
*Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs
*Posting and reviewing journals in line with relevant accounting frameworks
*Reconciliation of income and timely remittance of funds to clients
*Supporting clients and internal teams in interpreting financial information
*Reviewing arrears reporting and escalating issues where required
*Attending regular client calls with multiple stakeholders
*Assisting with year-end audits and responding to auditor queries
*Producing monthly MI and performance analysis, working closely with Asset Management
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting for property portfolios
*Overseeing month-end close processes
*Mentoring and supporting junior client accountants
About You
*You’ll be a confident, proactive accountant who enjoys ownership and variety, with a strong client-focused mindset.

Essential requirements:
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
*Strong technical accounting background or Audit background
*Excellent Excel skills
*Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
*Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholders
