About the RoleWe are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the Liverpool area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning, wellbeing, and development.
You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities*Support pupils’ learning on an individual basis and in small groups
*Assist with the delivery of lessons, including phonics, literacy, and numeracy
*Provide additional support for pupils with SEND or EAL, where required
*Help to maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organised classroom
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
*Assist with observations, assessments, and learning activities
*Promote positive behaviour in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate*Experience working with primary-aged children (school experience preferred)
*A warm, patient, and encouraging approach
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*A strong understanding of child development and safeguarding
*Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
*A genuine enthusiasm for working in a primary school setting
