Delivery Lead Contract: Up to 6 months
Location: Central London (hybrid - 2-3 days per week in office)
Overview An experienced Delivery Lead is required to support a priority Central Government transformation programme, leading delivery of a defined project within a multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on a critical data and technology workstream and requires strong delivery leadership in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities * Lead delivery of a defined project, ensuring outcomes are met within time, cost, and quality constraints

* Own and manage the project plan, budget, milestones, and controls

* Provide day-to-day leadership to the project team

* Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and governance effectively

* Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including officials and delivery partners

* Report progress, risks, and performance to programme leadership

* Contribute to wider programme planning and reporting

Essential Experience * Proven experience delivering complex or high-risk projects

* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

* Experience working with senior stakeholders and operating with high autonomy

* Practical expertise in risk and issue management

* Deep understanding of data and technology within delivery environments

Desirable * Experience in Central Government programmes

* Relevant qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile PM, APM)
