Job Description:
We are working with a great integrated communications agency to help them find a PR Account Manager with B2B sector experience.
Our Client
One of the largest independent marketing communication agencies in the region, they are based in central Manchester, in lovely heritage offices and have a strong commitment to their people. Sector experience is varied but generally they work with ambitious brands targeting growth.
The Role
As PR Account Manager you will be a trusted advisor and day-to-day contact for your clients, writing and obtaining approval for a range of PR and content for a variety of platforms and sectors, and liaising with journalists to secure media opportunities. You’ll work with senior colleagues to develop an understanding of your clients business objectives and strategy, and how you can contribute effectively. You’ll work across a range of B2B clients, primarily from the professional services and financial services sectors.
You
You should have a minimum of 2 years’ agency experience, with well-developed writing skills for different tone of voice and sectors, as well as media relations experience. You could be an existing Account Manager or a Senior Account Executive ready to step up. You’ll need solid B2B experience and be keen to take your career further into B2B PR. You’ll be ideas led and results driven, always keen to add real value to clients, as well as having excellent communication skills.
What’s in it for you
*Hybrid working (they work 4 days in the office currently but also offer flexible start/finish times and extra home working days throughout the year).
*Personalised development programme to help you develop towards Senior Designer.
*Excellent benefits that you can choose from and tailor, ranging from enhanced pension, gym memberships, health and mental health support, etc.
Our Commitment to Diversity
We are committed to improving diversity, equity and inclusion within the sectors we serve. We encourage applications for this role from all backgrounds and communities and offer equal opportunities to all candidates regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age, and any other protected status. Should you require any reasonable adjustments at any point in the recruitment process we are very happy to discuss and work with you to accommodate these.
