Job Description:
Workshop Operative
Location: Harlow
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Our client who are a well-established manufacturer and global distributor of medical devices are currently seeking a reliable, semi-skilled Workshop Operative to join their manufacturing and assembly team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Role
As a Workshop Operative, your duties will include:
*Assembly of machined components using CAD drawings
*Inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met
*Picking and packing of finished products (some manual lifting involved)
*Occasional loading and unloading of deliveries (forklift operation)
*Safe and competent use of hand tools
Full on-site training will be provided.
About You
*Semi-skilled with a good working knowledge of hand tools
*Able to read and follow CAD drawings
*Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
*Reliable, detail-focused and a strong team player
*Forklift experience is desirable but not essential
