About the Role
An established manufacturing company in Coventry is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join its production team. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Assist with the day-to-day operation of the production area
*Operate machinery and equipment safely (full training provided)
*Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
*Ensure all products meet quality standards before dispatch
*Maintain a clean and organised working area
*Follow health & safety guidelines at all times
*Support other departments when required
*Complete basic paperwork or production records
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment (preferred but not essential)
*Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
*Strong attention to detail
*Good timekeeping and reliability
*Willingness to learn and develop new skills
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
