Key Responsibilities of the Reserving Actuary
*Provide actuarial advice and technical support to business units across the UK and Europe
*Deliver quarterly reserving analysis and support business planning and portfolio reviews
*Forecast technical provisions and uncertainties for management reporting and profitability studies
*Mentor junior actuaries and contribute to developing a culture of excellence
*Drive process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance efficiency and insight
Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Reserving Actuary
*Experience in actuarial reserving, ideally within general insurance
*Strong technical knowledge and analytical capability
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Proficiency in Excel and other actuarial or data modelling tools
