Job Description:
Reed Business Support are delighted to be working with an Ashford-based client who are looking to recruit a Sales Executive specialising in New Business to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious sales professional who thrives on winning new clients and developing fresh revenue streams.
The Role
As a New Business Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities, playing a key role in the continued growth of the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Proactively identifying and generating new business opportunities
*Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
*Making outbound sales calls and conducting follow-up activity
*Building strong relationships with prospective clients
*Preparing and presenting proposals and quotations
*Maintaining accurate records on CRM systems
*Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
*Consistently working towards and exceeding sales targets
About You
The successful candidate will be confident, resilient, and commercially minded, with a strong track record in new business sales.
You will ideally have:
*Previous experience in a new business, B2B sales, or business development role
*Confidence with outbound sales activity and lead generation
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
*A target-driven mindset with a proactive approach
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
