Role: Production Operator
Location: Holmes Chapel
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
Salary: £30,000 per annum + benefits


We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, high-tech manufacturing business based in Holmes Chapel, who are looking to add a Production Operator to their operations team.


This is a hands-on role within a production and warehouse environment, ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of a performance-driven team.


The Role:


You will support day-to-day production activities, ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently, orders are completed to specification, and quality and safety standards are consistently met.


Key Responsibilities:


*Operating production machinery in line with job cards and specifications
*Supporting production output in line with operational KPIs (OEE, scrap, delivery performance)
*Maintaining health, safety and environmental standards (PPE, LOTO, near-miss reporting)
*Completing accurate production data and ensuring full batch traceability
*Supporting warehouse and logistics activities, including FLT operation (where trained)
*Adhering to standard operating procedures and quality systems
*Contributing to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
*Working closely with production, logistics and operations teams


About You:


*Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
*Comfortable operating machinery and following detailed procedures
*Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards
*A proactive, team-focused approach with good communication skills
