Level 2 Teaching Assistant | Liverpool
Start Date: February 2026
Contract: Full-time, until July 2026
Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a South Liverpool Secondary School. This role offers the chance to make a real difference to children’s learning and development in a welcoming school environment.
The Role:
* Provide general classroom support
* Work with small groups of pupils with additional needs, including Autism and ADHD supporting their learning and engagement
*Providing intervention delivery to low attaining students
* Assist teachers with planning, preparing resources, and managing group activities
* Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
* Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The successful candidate:
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
* Have experience supporting children with SEN or additional learning needs
* Be patient, adaptable, and proactive in supporting learners of all abilities
* Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff
