A secondary school in the Reading area is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a specialist looking for a stable, long-term position within a supportive and forward-thinking department.
About the Role
You will be responsible for teaching Psychology across KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that support students’ understanding, critical thinking, and interest in human behaviour.
Key duties include:
*Teaching Psychology to GCSE and A-Level (KS4/KS5)
*Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire
*Creating a positive classroom environment with high expectations
*Tracking and assessing pupil progress
*Contributing to the wider ethos of the Humanities/Social Sciences department
*Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student outcomes
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or FE qualification with relevant experience
*Strong subject knowledge in Psychology
*Experience teaching KS4/KS5 is highly desirable
*Excellent communication and classroom management skills
*A commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning
*Ability to work 3 days per week consistently
