Job Description:
*Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Technician
*Location: Edenbridge
*Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
*Working Hours: 8 - 4.30pm
HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Technician to join our client’s team in the packaging industry.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that all internal system processes are completed in a timely manner in line with the agreed schedules and targets set out by the Partnership Quality and Compliance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
*Investigating and responding to customer complaints
*Carrying out CAPA and route cause analysis as necessary
*Raising and investigating internal non-conformances
*Interdepartmental meetings/communication to ensure continuous improvement and effective process control
*Monthly Quality report
*Overseeing the day to day activity of the quality assurance technician
*Participating in and preparing for all external audits (customer and BRC etc)
*Assisting with internal audit programme
*Hygiene inspections
*Training as required with the Partnership QA manager and the Head of training and standards
*Overseeing the day to day activity of the QC department to ensure priorities are met
*CofC completion

Requirements
*Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or similar technical role
*Understanding of quality systems and standards (e.g. BRC, RSPO, GMP)
*Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Friendly, flexible and reliable team member
*Must enjoy working outside of the office in a busy environment
Desirable experience
*Level 3 HACCP
*Level 2 Food safety
*BRCGS or equivalent audit experience
*Co Packer or food manufacturer experience
