Duty Manager for a Children’s entertainment venue

We are excited to announce an opening for a Duty Manager at a Hospitality Venue in Cheltenham. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing a small team in a fast-paced environment, who is passionate about delivering high-quality service and can lead by example in customer engagement.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring a high-quality experience for all visitors.
*Oversee the Receptionist and Café Host Team Members, ensuring the facility is correctly staffed at all times.
*Conduct regular employee reviews and manage training needs, ensuring all certifications such as First Aid and Food Hygiene are up to date.
*Handle the open-up and close-down processes, maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
*Engage with customers, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
*Manage the centre’s social media presence and coordinate marketing efforts to enhance visibility and promote special events or offers.
*Perform administrative duties including payroll management, stock takes, and daily cashing up.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience managing a small team in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members.
*Excellent customer service skills, with the capability to handle complaints effectively.
*Proficiency in using EPOS systems and Microsoft Office.
*A flexible approach to work hours, including availability for shift work and weekend duties.
*Must be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate, First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Fire Safety certifications.
