Primary SEN Teacher
Primary School in Hatfield
Start Date: April or September (flexible)
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: Main Pay Scale
A welcoming Primary School in Hatfield is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Teacher to join their team within a newly established SEN Hub.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-resourced and supportive environment, teaching a small class of five pupils, primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), alongside a small number of pupils with additional needs.
The Role
*Teaching a small SEN class of 5 pupils
*Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
*Working closely with two additional specialist support staff
*Creating a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
*Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
The Ideal Candidate Will
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have experience working with SEN, particularly ASD (desirable but not essential)
*Be patient, nurturing and committed to inclusive education
*Work effectively as part of a supportive team
*Be able to support and uphold the school’s values and ethos
