Job Description:
Payroll Administrator
Location: Worcester
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum
Reed Practice is recruiting a Payroll Administrator on behalf of a busy accountancy practice in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and providing exceptional client support.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients with varying pay frequencies (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
*Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)
*Process starters, leavers, and changes to employee records
*Administer auto-enrolment pension schemes and liaise with pension providers
*Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC and process P32s
*Prepare and issue payslips, P45s, P60s, and P11Ds
*Handle client payroll queries and provide expert advice on payroll matters
*Reconcile payroll reports and assist with payroll-related journal entries
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in line with GDPR
*Support year-end payroll processes and reporting
The ideal candidate must have the following:
*Experienced with BrightPay
*2+ years of experience in Payroll
*Experienced in working in an accountancy practice
