We are working with a secondary school in Ealing to appoint a reliable and practical Science Technician to support the delivery of engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Your Contribution
As a Science Technician, you will ensure laboratories are fully prepared, safe, and well organised, enabling teachers to deliver high-quality practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Main Duties
*Preparing equipment, materials, and experiments in advance of lessons
*Supporting practical science teaching across all disciplines
*Maintaining clean, safe, and organised laboratory environments
*Managing stock, chemicals, and specialist equipment
*Conducting routine safety checks and basic maintenance
*Following all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures
*Providing technical assistance to teaching staff when required

*A science-related qualification or relevant experience
*Strong organisational and practical skills
*Confidence working independently and as part of a team
*Knowledge of health and safety practices
*Right to work in the UK
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
