Senior Consultant Support – Employee Benefits
An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant Support professional to play a pivotal role within its Employee Benefits function.
This is a senior support position, working closely with Consultants and Directors to ensure the delivery of a consistently high-quality, compliant, and proactive service to corporate clients. You will also take responsibility for coaching and developing junior team members, contributing to service excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide high-level technical and administrative support to Employee Benefits Consultants and Directors
*Act as a key point of contact for client and provider queries, ensuring clear, accurate communication
*Prepare and maintain client documentation, reports, market reviews, scheme specifications and suitability letters
*Manage renewals, claims, fee processing and client instructions end-to-end
*Coordinate and prepare for client meetings, governance reviews and renewals
*Maintain accurate records across internal systems and ensure full audit trails
*Support complex cases including TUPE, acquisitions and mergers
*Coach, mentor and develop team members, escalating issues where appropriate
*Contribute to projects focused on process improvement, workflow efficiency and compliance
About You
*Strong experience in Employee Benefits administration and senior-level support
*Sound technical knowledge across pensions, group risk, protection and auto-enrolment
*Confident handling complex queries and challenging situations
*Excellent attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills
*Strong written and verbal communication, including report writing
*Comfortable leading by example, coaching others and improving ways of working
*Commitment to compliance, professionalism and continuous development
Qualifications (preferred)
*Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. R01, R04, GR1 or equivalent)
*Active CPD and working towards higher-level qualifications advantageous
