We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You’ll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support and help pupils thrive in a nurturing environment.
This role is term-time only and you must be able to work a minimum of two days per week from 08.30 to 15.30. We can offer part time work but are ideally looking for individuals to work full-time Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support
*Implement EHCP strategies
*Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
*Assist with personal care (if required and school dependent)
Requirements:
*Experience of working with children with SEN OR a strong understanding of SEN and passion to support
*A patient and empathetic approach
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
