Job Description:
Operations manager - Required for this expanding TMC. They are looking for 2 operations managers, one homebased and the other 1 to 2 days a week in a central London office. TMC operations management experience is a must, ideally sabre trained but they are open, looking after teams of 12 people. Salary between 45/60k plus great benefits and bonus.
Operations managers duties
-Reporting to the director of operations and service, your primary function will be to manage your team and to work closely with the associated account managers You will have a flexible hands on approach in order that a close relationship with client and staff can be achieved
-Monitor and maintain effective consultant productivity levels
-Monitor consultants workloads to ensure telephone and email service standards are maintained
-Ensure the the various clients receive excellent service at all times
-Responsible for recruitment, onboarding and induction of operations staff
-Conduct regular formal and informal reviews with your team leader and operations staff
-Identify training and development opportunities
Operations manager skills required
-Very strong background in operations working for another TMC
-Ideally sabre knowledge but they will cross train from another GDS
-Strong people management experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Experience of managing home based and office based teams
Additional information
-They are looking to fill two positions, one is totally homebased, the other will be a hybrid role with 1/2 days a week in London
