Job Description:
Payroll Administrator Location: Office-based, Monday–Friday
Salary:£30,000–£35,000 per annum
Our client is a well-established restaurant group with over 60 years of success, and they’re now looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their finance team. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role where you’ll be responsible for running end-to-end payroll for employees across the group on both a fortnightly and monthly basis.
You’ll play a key role in making sure all team members are paid accurately and on time, while ensuring full compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:*Processing end-to-end payroll for a large, multi-site workforce
*Managing pension contributions
*Setting up new starters using Star Payroll
*Tracking holiday pay, maternity pay and statutory sick pay
*Ensuring Right to Work compliance is in place
*Monitoring and responding to the payroll inbox
*Supporting employees with pay and benefits queries
What We’re Looking For:*2–3 years’ experience in a similar payroll role
*Strong background in high-volume payroll (retail, hospitality, or similar)
*Confident using Excel (VLOOKUPs and other functions)
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*Knowledge of Star Payroll is highly desirable
