Overview

A fast-paced, complex international group is urgently seeking a Technical Consolidations Lead Accountant to take ownership of the Group’s consolidation process and drive the successful close of the 2025 year-end audit. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality IFRS reporting, smooth coordination with external auditors, and timely delivery of consolidated financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead the full group consolidation process across 50+ entities, including subsidiaries, JVs, and disposals.
*Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
*Manage and coordinate all audit deliverables, working closely with third-party auditors to ensure an efficient and well-controlled year-end close.
*Review complex consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and technical accounting treatments.
*Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to the finance team.
*Manage and review two accountants, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls.
*Drive improvements in consolidation processes, documentation, and reporting quality.
Required Experience
*Proven track record in group consolidations within large, multi-entity organisations.
*Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS.
*Experience handling JVs, disposals, and complex group structures.
*Demonstrated ability to work with external auditors and manage year-end close cycles.
*Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines.
*Prior experience leading or reviewing small teams.
