£34,021 – £46,028 DOE

My client is a well-established independent financial planning and wealth management firm with a strong people-first culture. They are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team and support advisers with complex financial planning work. This is a permanent, full-time Paraplanner role with hybrid working, excellent development opportunities, and a competitive benefits package.
The roleAs a Paraplanner, you’ll support advisers by producing accurate, compliant, and well-researched financial planning work, including:
*Carrying out detailed financial research on products and investments
*Preparing bespoke investment and suitability reports within agreed SLAs
*Analysing existing investment portfolios and benchmarking performance
*Interpreting complex financial planning data, including transfer analysis
*Producing detailed reports across multiple planning areas
*Researching new/existing legislation, products, and technical updates
*Escalating complex cases to senior team members when needed
*Contributing to wider firm research projects
What we’re looking for*Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)
*Experience in a Paraplanner role within an IFA environment
*Strong understanding of personal financial planning and suitability reporting
*Excellent written and numerical skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Confident report-writing ability
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office
*Clear communicator who can give constructive feedback
Key responsibilities (risk & governance)*Deliver work accurately and on time
*Produce high-quality research, calculations, investment reports, and FPRs
*Support advisers with technical and regulatory input on cases
*Assist with technical development of trainee Paraplanners
*Ensure complex work is appropriately reviewed and escalated
